Week 7 Photo Challenge: Portrait-Faceless

For week 7 photo challenge I had to do a faceless portrait. Sometimes faceless portraits tell you something about the person, like a story. It could also be something symbolic.   I had a few different ideas of what I wanted to do. They didn’t pan out because of timing and being occupied taking care of little R (my one year old boy).  This idea of me reading was the one that actually worked out.  
I love to read books.  The book in this picture is the classic George Orwell 1984, which I am currently reading.  With all the dystopian books that have been made into movies like The Hunger Games and Divergent, this book fits right into that genre.   

I chose a black and white filter because of all the details that are going on in the picture.  It helped the book stand out more.
